Review: I thought the book was quite interesting.  It was not what I usually like to read but I wanted to try reading it because my daughter likes it.  I found it to be quite enjoyable although a little long winded about the love stuff.  I wanted the author to be quiet and get on with the action.  I think it will be a really popular movie when it is realeased in October.

Book: Dork Diaries Tales from a NOT-SO- Graceful Ice Princess

Summary: A girl names Nikki Maxwell has to perform in a ice show, but she is not good at ice skating but when she got better a girl named MacKenzie Hollister gets jealous and locks Nikki and Nikki's friends in a closet by saying that Nikki's costume was left inside of the closet. So eventually someone came and unlocked the door and they went out to the rink and they were able to do their performance.

She said that the holes were dug by a professional so they went to the mouse city collage and talked to a professor and he said it was done by Ziggy the milapede he is the pet of these bratty triplelets who's grandfather wants Morgan Black Whiskers so he sent them to look for it but it was an epic fail and somebodyelse found it the young man and Creepella found it while they were trying to look for clues the young man fell into a fountain in his yard that he thought didn't evanexist because it was burriedin a thorn bush and the tresureof Morgan Black Whiskers was hidden in the fountain so they celebrated by trowing a party.

Summary: The main character, whose name is Matt, builds a house with his father. Matt is left at the house that they had built while his father leaves and goes back to where they had come from, supposedly temporarily. 

Matt is supposed to guard the house, and he makes friends with another boy named Attean from the Beaver Clan. 

But his father does not come back, and Attean asks Matt to join the Beaver Clan and move with them. In the end, Matt had a dilemma, whether to stay at the house, or go with Attean.
